I started keeping a gratitude journal - and it changed my life.
Not only did practicing gratitude make me more resilient and able to cope, it helped me be more present and mindful. In turn, that helped get rid of a constant glum feeling, because I was more focused on what I did have, rather than on what I didn’t have. That soothed my anxiety, and I moved from being in a near-constant state of fear, to (mostly) living in a state of love.
When I feel myself slipping, I make sure I’m practicing gratitude, and keeping my gratitude journal daily. And it absolutely helps. I hope you come to love practicing gratitude as much as I do. :)
