Ozone nasal insufflation
You weren’t meant to feel blocked, foggy, and drained all the time
A gentle ozone therapy treatment for women in Kerikeri, Northland, to support your sinuses and lungs
Neti pots. Steam. Antihistamines. Essential oils.
But the congestion, sneezing, brain fog, and fatigue keep coming back.
Your nights are interrupted.
Your days feel heavier than they should.
And the thought of trying yet another thing feels exhausting in itself.
If you’re tired of coping and craving a natural, non-invasive alternative - this may be the missing link.
I believe you shouldn’t have to live with blocked sinuses and brain fog.
Like many people who find their way to ozone therapy, I arrived here after trying everything else.
I was struggling with what seemed like a chronic sinus infection - undiagnosed, but relentless. I was waking up every night with blocked sinuses, sneezing, and a foggy head that never quite cleared.
Neti pots, antihistamines, inhalations... nothing helped.
Then I discovered nasal ozone insufflation - and after just a few treatments, everything began to shift.
I started sleeping through the night.
I could breathe clearly.
I felt more rested, more focused, and more like myself.
Even my asthma improved - I no longer need my preventative inhaler every day. All of this in just a couple of weeks.
That’s why I now offer this treatment to others:
Women who are tired of coping.
Tired of trying.
Tired of being dismissed.
I follow internationally recognised protocols (from the Madrid Declaration on Ozone Therapy) to ensure safe, effective treatment - grounded in both science and personal experience. (Read more about me.)
You don’t need to push through one more foggy, blocked-up day.
There’s a gentler way to find relief - and I’d love to share it with you.
A safe, evidence-based approach for sinus and lung health.
Ozone therapy isn’t new - but it’s having a quiet renaissance in integrative medicine for good reason.
In this treatment, you gently breathe in ozonated oil vapour through the nose using a soft nasal cannula. The oil acts as a bubbler - producing Lipid Oxidation Products (LOPs) - which retain the ozone’s therapeutic benefits without irritating the lungs.
This method follows international best practices based on the Madrid Declaration on Ozone Therapy. It’s safe, fast, and completely drug-free.

Ozone is a natural form of oxygen, made up of three atoms (O₃) instead of the usual two (O₂). This unique structure is what gives ozone its therapeutic properties.
Ozone therapy creates a mild, controlled oxidative stress in the body. This triggers the release of natural antioxidants and activates the NRF2 pathway - the same protective mechanism stimulated by fasting and exercise.
It also promotes the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the vital fuel your cells need for energy. Many people notice improved vitality, and it is one of the reasons elite athletes turn to ozone therapy to support performance.

Women are turning to nasal ozone therapy for relief from:
✓ Chronic sinus issues or infections, such as sinusitis and rhinitis.
✓ Nasal congestion and blocked breathing.
✓ Post-viral symptoms (cold, flu, COVID).
✓ Asthma and COPD symptoms.
✓ Mold exposure or allergic reactions.
Ozone is highly reactive. Its extra oxygen atom easily binds to other substances, which is why it can disrupt harmful microbes. For example, ozone can oxidise the lipid layer that protects viruses, crippling their RNA. It can also neutralise bacteria and mould through this same oxidative effect. Meanwhile, your healthy cells benefit from increased oxygen delivery and energy production - a win-win for balance and resilience. Ozone also possesses anti-inflammatory effects, potentially reducing lung inflammation.
It’s natural to wonder if something is legit or not. And the word 'ozone' sometimes gets mixed up with myths or misinformation.
But here’s the truth:
🧬 Ozone therapy has been studied for decades, especially in Europe and Latin America, with promising results for immune support, antimicrobial effects, and cellular oxygenation.
🦠 A recent randomised clinical trial found that nebulised ozone therapy can support recovery from post-COVID respiratory issues. Patients receiving ozone therapy alongside standard care showed significant improvements in shortness of breath, fatigue, and related symptoms, as well as faster recovery of lung function compared to those on standard treatment alone.
📋 One of the largest surveys on ozone therapy safety was conducted in 1980 by the University of Giessen. It analysed over 5.5 million treatments across nearly 385,000 patients. The study concluded that ozone therapy is among the least harmful therapies known, with an adverse effect rate of only 0.000005 per treatment - and most of these were due to application errors rather than ozone itself.
🌍 Ozone therapy has been studied for decades and is widely used as part of integrative medicine in many countries. In fact, treatments have been normalised in Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia, Cuba, Mexico, and Brazil.
✔️ These countries follow internationally recognised protocols such as the Madrid Declaration on Ozone Therapy, which sets standards for safety and effectiveness worldwide. My ozone therapy treatments here in Kerikeri are guided by these same evidence-based protocols to ensure safety and consistency.
Your first appointment will take around 30 minutes, which includes a short consultation where we discuss your health history and goals.
You’ll then sit comfortably and gently breathe in the ozonated oil vapour through a soft nasal cannula. The treatment is painless, relaxing, and takes 15 minutes for your first session. (The first 3 sessions are 15 minutes each - 3 times a week is recommended. Depending on how this works for you, we can then move to 3 x 30-minute sessions a week.)
You can read, rest, or simply be still... I have a great selection of books on hand that you can read while you're here. The treatments works best when you don't talk, so that you inhale as much of the vapour as possible.
Ozone nasal insufflation works best as a series of treatments rather than a one-off.
🌿 Drug-free and non-invasive – a natural therapy without medication or needles.
🧬 Evidence-based – follows internationally recognised ozone therapy protocols.
💨 Supports sinus and lung health – may help with congestion, post-viral issues, and breathing clarity.
⏱️ Quick and convenient – sessions take just 15–30 minutes.
💖 Safe and nurturing space – treatments are for women only, in central Kerikeri.
It's easy to forget how we felt a week or two ago - our current state quickly becomes the new normal. This is known as 'hedonic adaptation' (or, in psychology, 'recall bias').
To help track your improvements, I’ll ask you to rate your symptoms before each session using a simple 0-5 scale (0 = no symptoms; 5 = severe symptoms). This gives us a clear picture of your progress over time.
The two initial 15-minute sessions are there to get your body used to the ozone - so I'd generally start to expect seeing shifts once we reach the 30-minute sessions. That said, I've had several clients report significant improvements after just one or two sessions. Every body is different.
Pictured are the progress trackers from two different clients. The client with the chronic cough (left) saw real improvements after just one ozone session. Whereas the client with the severe hayfever (right) didn't start seeing results till her 4th session... and wow, look at the fabulous result after her 7th session! Both clients came 2-3 times a week for ozone nasal insufflation.
30 minutes total - $60
Your session price includes a personal nasal cannula, kept solely for your use.
20 minutes total - $30
40 minutes total - $50
➤ Buy a 6-pack for $250 (save $50... i.e. you get one treatment for free) - ask me about this during your appointment
Ozone therapy is not suitable for everyone. Please do not book if you have:
🌿 Treatments are for women only in my central Kerikeri treatment room, unless you're an existing client.
🥦 Taking strong antioxidants too close to your session can cancel out its benefits. It is best to avoid vitamin C and other antioxidants for 1–2 hours before and after treatment. Here is more information on what food, drinks, and supplements to avoid.

Ozone treatment for sinuses uses ozonated oil vapour, breathed gently through the nose. It may support clearer breathing, reduce congestion, and help calm sinus irritation.
Nasal insufflation is a form of ozone therapy where you inhale ozonated oil vapour through a soft cannula. The oil creates Lipid Oxidation Products (LOPs), which provide the benefits of ozone without irritating the lungs.
A nasal ozone insufflation session usually takes 15-30 minutes. Earliest results may be felt after a few treatments, but the effects vary by individual.
Everyone responds differently; there is no hard-and-fast rule. Some people feel relief after one or two sessions, while others need several to notice changes. I start low and slow so your body can adjust to the ozone, so the first two sessions are 15 minutes each, then we move to 30 minute sessions. You will be asked to rate your symptoms at each appointment so we can track progress together.
Ozone therapy may support the body’s natural healing processes by improving oxygen delivery and modulating the immune response. Many people find it helps ease inflammation-related symptoms such as congestion, swelling, or discomfort. Responses can vary, as every individual’s health picture is unique.
Ozone nasal insufflation can provide noticeable relief by calming inflammation, improving oxygenation, and reducing microbial imbalances in the sinuses and airways. Clients often report easier breathing, reduced congestion, and an overall sense of clarity after treatment.
It is important to understand, however, that ozone is not a one-time permanent cure. Respiratory conditions such as sinusitis, asthma, or chronic cough are usually influenced by underlying factors - including immune function, sensitivities, or hidden infections - that may continue to trigger symptoms. Ozone works to ease these symptoms and create a healthier environment in the airways, but unless those deeper drivers are addressed, flare-ups can still occur.
